Description : The traditional evaluation of sanitary risks find his limits when the scientific uncertainties render this model ineffective. For instance, actual methodologic limitations make the evaluation of the risk of electromagnetic waves or endocrine disruptors very difficult or even impossible. . When the scientific expertise of risk evaluation cannot be conclusive, the public decisions made by politicians loose their scientific legitimacy. In these situations of high scientific uncertainties, any decision will be influenced by the subjectivity of the actors, whether it is the public subjectivity of the experts or the politicians. In particular, public decision making is submitted to strong lobbying and high conflicts of interests. Thus, the classical model of risk management must be reconsidered.
